Marathon Oil Company Request for Spacing Exception F ails Creek # 1RD Dear Mr. and Mrs. Neilson: The Commission received your letter on April 17, 2002 requesting a public hearing on Marathon Oil Company's application for a spacing exception. Please be advised that on April 19, 2002, Marathon notified the Commission that further testing of the well is not necessary at this time and withdrew its request for the location exception. Therefore, the hearing scheduled for May 14, 2002 has been vacated. We would also like to note that the Notice of Public Hearing regarding the Falls Creek #1RD mistakenly indicated that Marathon was requesting a spacing exception for the drilling of a well when, in fact, Marathon's request was only for the purpose of testing a different zone in the well that had already been drilled. Despite diligent research I have been unable to ascertain a verified current address for these parties, so I have mailed notice to their last known record address.
