Could please provide a brief explanation as to why Buccaneer chose to drill at this specific location rather than one that would conform to statewide spacing rules? The bottomhole location of the well is 725' FEL, 1710' FSL, Sec. 28, T06N, R11W, Seward Meridian and surface location is 1620' FWL and 175' FSL, Sec. 27, T06N, R11W, Seward Meridian. The spacing exception is requested for the following reasons: a) the projected wellbore of the Kenai Loop No. 2 #1 Well falls within 1,500 feet of the property line, b) the surface and bottomhole location is owned by the Mental Health Trust Authority (MHT9300070), c) Cook Inlet Region, Inc. owns the subsurface in Section 34, T06N, R11W (C-061667), to the south of MHT-9300070, and d) Buccaneer Alaska, LLC is the sole owner of both oil and gas leases from the Mental Health Trust and CIRI.
