Tyler Subject: 1E-14 (PTD 182-079) Report of OA SCP Victoria, Kuparuk gas lifted producer 1E-14(PTD 182-079) appears to have sustained casing pressure on the OA requiring more than two bleeds a week to maintain below the DNE of 1000 psi. The well is a recent LTSI well that had a RWO and sidetrack in late 2014 and early 2015. Originally the pressure build up was suspected to be thermally related as the wellbore warmed up throughout the entire OA fluid column. A passing TIFL and MITOA were performed to confirm integrity to fluid and it now appears to be communication between the IA and OA to gas only. It is ConocoPhillips intention to internally waiver the well and allow the OA to equalize with the IA up to 1400 psi. Please let me know if you have any questions. Attached are a wellbore schematic and a 90 day TIO plot. • CHOKE - ----- FTP FIT IAP T/lJO Plot - 1E-14 tzuu _ 1000 _ 800 (.7) - 1 t -,-- ii, 600 - ---*/ ------- A i 400 - 200 _ - ----------- 0 IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 06-Apr-15 19-Apr-15 02-May-15 15-May-15 28-May-15 10-Jun-15 23-Jun-15 Date Brent Rogers/Kelly Lyons Problem Wells Supervisor ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. Describe Proposed or Completed Operations (Clearly state all pertinent details and give pertinent dates, including estimated date of starting any proposed work, for Abandonment see 20 AAC 25.105-170). ARCO Alaska, Inc. proposes to perform a step rate test/unpropped fracture treatment on the "A" sand in this well to gain further injectivity data and to hopefully improve this well's injectivity thereby minimizing freezing problems after the startup of the Increment I Waterflood. The procedure will entail isolating the "A" sand by pulling the circulating ports now in place opposite the "C" sand and replacing them with dummy gas lift valves. Packers are in place above and below the "C" sand, so the "C" sand will not be open to the tubing from this point on. A step rate test will then be run on the "A" sand starting at approximately 1700 psig (surface pressure) and increasing in increments up to 2600 psig. The estimated parting pressure for this well is 2361 psig. Our experience has shown that after treatments such as this, we can expect increased injectivity at pressures below the parting pressure. We will have a second injection period to verify this. Following the treatment the well will either be produced to the CPF, produced to onsite tanks, or be shut-in, depending on the results. Heated water from our water source well the injected fluid during the test. EXPECTED START DATE' 14. I hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. Expected ceservoir pcessure in the Kuparuk interval has been determined to be 3165 psig from RFT and pressure build-up data. This pressure ~ 6060' SS = 6166' TVD will be balanced by 9.8? ppg mud weight. Normal drilling practice calls for 10.4 ppq. weight prior to penetration and during drilling of the Upper Kuparuk and remaining intervals. This will result in a .170 psi overbalance. It is ~nticipated the surface 8OPE equipment could be subjected to a maximum of 2?82 psi during drilling operations. Derivation assumes a gas kick at reser- voir temperature and pressure (154°F, :)165 psi), gas migration to the surface without expansion, and cooIing to 80°F ceiIar temperature. This is weii beiow the 5000 psig BOPE working pressure and iess than the :)000 psi weekIy test pressure.
