Conservation Order No. 40, dated June 8, 1967, prescribed a special rule for pool designation and a special rule for well spacing for a speci- fied area of the North Cook Inlet Field. 2. Conservation Order No. 40 was made pursuant to Section 2061.3 of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations (1964) and continued in force until December 7, 1968. 3. There have been no well completions in the North Cook Inlet Field while Conservation Order No. 40 has been in effect. 4. Notice of the consideration of the Oil and Gas Conservation Committee was published on November 7, 1968, in tile Anchorage Daily News and there were no protests. AND IT FURTHER APPEARING THAT the evidence presented at the public hearing on May 15, 1967, is timely and there has been no new evidence to materially change the findings of Conservation Order No. 40. Pool Designation - the pool affected by this order is called the Tertiary System Gas Pool. Its vertical limits are defined as the interval which will correlate with the interval 3,500 feet to 6,200 feet in the Pan American Petroleum Corporation North Cook Inlet State 17589 well No. 1. Rule 2. Well Spacin~ - Gas wells may be drilled on a "Cluster" spacing ~'~:~e~n in_ accord~anc6 with the pattern shown in Exhibit "B" of the original application, which is made part of this order. Notice is hereby given that the Oil and Gas Conservation Committee is considering the issuance of an order, as provided in Section 31.05.030 of the Alaska Statute and in compliance with Conservation Order #40, to make permanent rules in the North Cook Inlet Gas Field. These rules are effective until December 8, 1968, as a result of a public hearing held on May 15, 1.967. No wells have been completed since Conservation Order #40 has been in effect. Parties who may be aggrieved if the proposed order is issued are allowed thirty days from the date of this publication in which to file a protest and a request for a hearing. If such a protest is timely filed, a hearing on the matter will be held at the address given below at 9:30 a.m., December 7, 1968, at which time protestants and others may be heard. If no such protest is timely filed, the Committee will consider the issuance of the order without a hearing. Publish November 7, 1968 Thomas R.
