Tripped for 1-3/4" mud motor and 2" flat bottomed mill. No sign of bridge at 4790' while RIH. (Assume wash nozzle hung up in perfed casing at 4790' CTM). Cont. RIH to fill at 4869' CTM. Cleaned out fill to retainer at 4971' CTM (4997' DPM) using 3% KCL foam and N2. Switch to straight N~ and POH. Well not flowing gas. RIH with 1-1/4" coiled tubing with 1.7" wash nozzle blowing well dry with N2 to tubing tail at 4603' DPM. Circ with N~. RIH to 4870' CTM and pulled back to 4594' CTM while circ with N~. Shut down N2. Well flowing gas. POH with coiled tubing. Rigged down and released all equipment at 2400 hrs. SUI~BfARY OF RESULTS' The sand consolidation treatment of'the B-3 and B-4 sands of Pool 5.1 was successful in eliminating sand production. The producing rate fro~ Pool $.I prior to the workover was about 11 mmcf/d. The rate during September averaged 8 mmcf/d but daily tests during October were as high as 11.8 nuncf/d. The hydroxy-aluminum treatment appeared to cause no deliverability damage to the B-5 and B-4 sands in KU 45-7. The sand consolidation and perforation of the C-2 sand of Pool 6 resulted in no sand-production but 125 BWPD and inconclusive gas production increase. The producing rate prior to the work- over was about i0 mmcf/d. Following ~,ze workover the gas pro- duc'tion increased from 5.3 to 10,8 mmcf/d between September 29 to October 20. The test rates on October 21 and Z? were 7.5 mmcf/d with 126 BWPD and 11.96 mmcf/d with 125 BWPD respectively No significant loss in gas deliverability resulted front the workover and continued cleanup may result in a deliverability increase. The 15% HCU acid used-in the sand consolidation pre- flush may have resulted in a channel to a water sand and water production of 125 BPD. The production test of the C-2 sand produced no water. SUMb~ARY OF WORKOVER After cleaning out the sand fill, the C-2 sand of Pool 6 was perforated thru drill pipe from 5575'-56Q0'. A test of this interval produced 3.1 mmcf/d against a 1080 psi surface pressure. The C-1 (5352'-5496'} and the C-2 (5575'-5600') were treated with hydroxy-aluminum for sand control. The preflush of this treatment included 15% HCL. The C-2 sand was reperforated with casing guns. The blast joints in Pool 5.1 were sand cut. The B-5 and B-4 sands were treated with hydroxy-a!uminum for sand control. The preflush included 15% HCL. Killed well w/water followed by 80# cu.ft, mud, followed by 90#'cu.ft. mud. Unable to kill well by pumping down short string. Pumped down short string through a sleeve located above the Baker Model "K" packer @ 4226'. Installed Cameron back pressure valves in dual hangers and installed 8" S-900, 3000# hydril and double shaffer. Pulled and measured short and l°ng. strings. Replaced tubing across perfs with blast Joints, 4684'-4724', 4756'-4856' 4897'-4957' Found two joints of tubing w/holes cut by sand and gas opposite the perforated interval from 4766' to 4788'. Re-dressed Baker Model "K" packer and "stab in" assembly for both the Model N-1 and the "K" packer. Ran in hole' and circulated bottoms up. Ran long string w/blast joints opposite perfs. Stabbed into the N-1 packer @ 5155', tested to 1000# - OK. Rant 'short string but unable to reach packer @ 4221". Pulled short string and re-ran same w/3 Joints of 2-3/8" tubing on bottom w/accessories. (See tubing detail attached.) Unable to reach packer with short string. Pulled short string and long string. Re-ran long string. Ran short string. Unable to stab short string into' Model "K" packer. Pulled long and short string and found that friction between strings caused downward thrust, shearing a safety joint on the long string side of the Model "K" packer. Pulled short and long strings. Relocated Model "K" packer approx. 307' above previous setting depth. (See attached long string tubing detail). Removed otiS'2-7/8'' XO sleeve above "K" packer. Ran long string. Stabbed into Model N-1 packer @ 3892' with no difficulty, which would indicate the possibility of a dog leg @ approx. 4080' to 4380'. Tested Model "K" to 1000# - OK. Installed tree and tested tubing head and hanger Seals to 3000# - OK. With gas for Kenai Unit 43-6A, both strings were cleaned up and the casing blown dry. Closed sleeve in long string @ 5104' and a sleeve in the short string was left open @ 3795'. Well was available for production @ 10:00 AbI 10/3/68.
