Commissb,q Attachment I shows both surface and bottom hole location of the above wells. The close proximity of the bottom hole location of each of the wells to the pad location indicates that uphole log data in these wells is representative of the uphole section that .would be logged from any well drilled from W or Z Pad. Attachment II is a listing of the current uphole log data available for each well. The data that is available on all of the above wells is more than adequate to document stratigraphy and fluid distribution. With your concurrence, no further uphole data will be acquired from either W or Z pad unless required by other working interest owners. Sunday June 28, 1981: This location had been partially cleaned before.. 'i arrived'~, .... As the attached pictures show a lot of re- tainer boom had been strung and a tremendous amount of absorbant pads used. The reserve pit had only a small amount of oil in the corner and a vaccum truck was hauling water out of the pit. The abandon~ment marker is not the required 4' above ground level and the pad is rutted up. A lot of trash is scattered over the pad. I recommend to the commission that Petroleum Inspectors inspect this location frequently until these problems are corrected. In summary, I inspected SOHIO'S M.P. 13-15-11-12 location. Friday March 20, 21[. 22, 1981z After witnessing the susPension 6f -A~C0,S "D~"S' ' h 'gA'* i -we-nt to SOHIO'S M.P. 13-15-11-12 and witnessed the cement plug setting for abandonment of the well bore. Plug #1 consisted of 254 sks of 16 ppg class G cement with 18% salt and 1=%_ friction reducer. This plug was placed from 12,000' to 11, 600'~-. Plug #2 consisted of 127 sks of 16 ppg class G cement with 18% salt and 1% friction reducer. This plug was spotted from 11, 310' to 11,128'. After W.O.C. for 8 hrs. an attempt was made to tag the plug. The D.P. was run to 11,310' and no cement was found. We then circulated bottoms up and received no cement~%was very little contaminated mud. It was then decided to set another plug consisting of 127 sks. class G cement with 18% salt and 1% fric- ~O ' ' ti n reducer. After spotting plug the D P was P.O.H. and a 9 5/8" EZ drill Halliburton cement retainer was picked up and was run to 11,015' The retainer was set and sheared out of with 35, 000 lbs. A~ter shearing out of the retainer th~_ D.P. was stung back in and 50,000 lbs. was placed on retainer to insure a good set. The D.~_. was then ~.nstung and a 50 sk. cement plug placed from 11~000 to !0,891' . The D.P. was then pulled out to 2,400' where a 132 sk. perma- frost cement plug was set from 2,400' to 2, 100'. I departed the location at this time and returned to Anchorage. Jack Bart, Sohio drilling foreman contacted me at home Sunday March 22, 1981 and informed me that the plug from 2,400' to 2,100' had been tagged with 30,000 lbs. of weight and was in place. ~ Attached to this report are copies of Sohio's cementing summaries of the well abandonment cement plugs I witnessed being set in Sohio' s M.P. 13--15-11-12.
