WELL S-1 (11-34-12-12) WELL HISTORY Spudded well at 1800 hours, March 28, 1982. Drilled 17 1/2" hole to 2700'. Ran 69 jts. 13 3/8" 72# L-80 Buttress casing to 2694'. Cemented with 3720 cu. ft. Arcticset II cement. Installed and tested BOPE. Cleaned out to 2626'; tested casing to 3000 psi, okay. Drilled out to 2720', ran leak-off test to 0.83 psi/ft, gradient. Directionally drilled 12 1/4" hole to 11334'. Attempted to run open hole logs; stuck tool at 11230'. Fished but could not recover. Pulled up to 10900' and logged. Decision was made to plug hole to 7790' and redrill to new bottomhole location. Three cement plugs were laid from 11304'-11079' (185 cu.ft. Class G cement), 11096'-10871' (185 cu.ft. S-1 is being plugged by laying a 450' 16 ppg. Class G cement plug from l1324-10874'BKB. Top of Sag River is at 11019' BKB. A second plug, isolating the Kuparuk sands, will be'set from 7835-8035' BKB using 15.8 ppg. Class G cement. Well S-1 R/D#1 will be kicked off from 6070tTVD and directionally drilled to a new target location as-per Permit to Drill to follow. Maximum possible surface pressure is 3330 psi based on a gas column to surface from 8600' TVDss and an oil column to 8800' TVDss. Cement second stage through D.V. packer collar at 2600' with 130 cu. ft. Arcticset I cement. 9 5/8" casing will be hung at surface; the 9 5/8" x 13 3/8" annulus will be Arctic Packed. Drill 8 1/2" hole to T.D. at 9562' TVD. Cement 7" liner to 500' inside 9 5/8" casing shoe with 399 cu. ft. Class G cement with 18% salt. Run 3 1/2" 9.39 L-80 EUE 8rd A/B mod. IPC tubing with 8 gas lift mandrels and a production packer assembly at 8656' TVD. A subsurface safety valve with dual control lines will be placed at 2100'. Displace tubing to diesel.
