Patches across the C Sand reduce the tubing ID and restrict any cement retainers or plugs from being set between the A and C Sands. Therefore, the perforations will need to be abandoned simultaneously by down-squeezing an excessive volume of cement to assure coverage of both the A and C Sands. PRE-RIG WORK: 1. RU slickline unit. Erosion is suspected to have caused a hole in the production tubing at 1922' WLM. This hole does not allow isolation of the tubing-production casing annulus from produced fluids as required by 20AAC25.200(d). Additional diagnostics are ongoing to evaluate repair options. The is well is currently_ shut in and will remain so until the communicationS. The tubing and production casing pressures-~b~h 2650 psi. ARCO Alaska, Inc., proposes to convert well 1F-3 to a single selective completion. The procedure will be as fol 1 ows: 1. The well will be killed wi'th brine. Weight to be determined after running pressure bomb. 2. The current completion assembly will be pulled. 3. A retrievable packer will be run to verify zone isolation between A and C sands. 4. The well will then be completed as a single selective. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, SRRA BOP stack will be used on well work. BOP equipment will be tested weekly and operationally tested each trip. A non-freezing fluid will be left in all uncemented annuli within the permafrost interval. A 5000 psi WP wireline lubricator will be used and.tested on all wireline work. The subsurface safety valve will be installed and tested upon conclusion of the job. A 20", 2000 psi annular diverter will be installed on the 16" conductor while drilling the surface hole. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOPE stack will be installed on the 10-3/4" surface pipe. It will be tested upon installation and weekly thereafter. Test pressure will be 3000 psig (1800 psi for annular). Expected maximum surface pressure will be 2620 psig. Pressure calculations are based on virgin reservoir pressure. Surface pressure calculated with unexpanded gas bubble at surface including temperature effects. Selected intervals will be logged. The well will be completed with 3-1/2", 9.2#, J-55 buttress tbg. Non-freezing fluids will be left in uncemented annuli through the permafrost interval. Se]ected intervals will be perforated within the Kuparuk formation and reported on subsequent reports. A downhole safety valve will be installed and tested upon completion of the job. 1F-3 will be 120' from 1F-4 at surface. Their courses are divergent from there. · 23.
