Fluid Packed the wellbore with 300bbl of water. TIH and Pumped 80 bbls 80°F water to cool down perf area. Laid 10 bbls Class "G" Cement (15.8ppg Density) from 8827' to 8556' at 1:1 ratio. PUH and maintain 300psi to 400 psi on wellbore. FP 300' 5 1/2" tubing and CT. SD for the night. Will tag and PT tomorrow. Left 350 psi on the well. WHP constant at 350 psi. Fluid Summary 10 18.8 Cement 563 Fresh Water 56 Methanol 12/'14/97 Install BHA #1 and PT. Pressure tested Casing to 1500 psi. 30 min, straight on chad, Approved by D. Amos AOGCC over phone .TIH to tag PBTD. Tagged at 8598' (229' above the perfs (8827' to 8895') lost 1.3 bbls in perfs. Called AOGCC and informed them of results. OK, POOH. FP the top 1100'. RU SWS and set Bakers Thro-Tubinq Whipstock at 8378' to 8393'. POOH and RD SWS. WHP - 600 psi. Good Job done by all. 12/15/97 RU Baker and Drilex Window Milling Assembly. Changed out Pack-off. Installed BHA #1, PT and TIH. Tagged XN at 8133' Milled through in 5 minutes, backed reamed and RIH without pump, Clean. TIH and dry tagged skate at 8374.0' Milling window. Milled window from 8374.3' to 8379.8' (5.5' window). Took 3 hours to mill window with I stall. Reamed twice and dry tagged, Clean hole, Drilled 0.7' of formation. Dropped 3/4" ball and open CS. POOH FP 500' tubing ad S-Riser. RD tools. Mill OD at 3.74". 12/16/97 Cut off 20' CT and PU BHA #2. Recovered 31 bbls MeOH. TIH and tagged "XN" at 8132' and milled though. Backed reamed and dry run. "XN" Clean. TIH and tagged window dry at 8374'CTM Milled widow from 8369' to 8376' (7'). SD due to lack of water. Milled from 8376'CTM to 8379'CTM Total length = 10' in a total time of 2hr 50 minutes. Drilled 6' of formation to 8385'CTM ROP at 30 FPH. Cleaned out and reamed 5 times. Hole clean, Hole sloughing outside casing. FIo-Pro will cure this problem. POOH. Dropped ball and open CS. POOH. FP the CT, 2000' of 5 1/2" tubing and flowline. Mill OD at 3.79" on the 7" cutting surface. Top of Whipstock ~ 8378' ELMD; RA Marker at 8386.8'ELMD; bottom of Whipstock at 8393.8'ELMD. Window from 8381' to 8387' ELMD. The following summarizes the procedure required to prepare K-04 for sidetracking and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. 1. Perform tubing integrity test. 2. Drift tubing for whipstock. 3. Run Kinley caliper over liner. 4. Squeeze existing perforations by laying in 20 bbls cement from -top PBTD. Squeeze to 2500 psi. Reverse out cement to between 8550' and 8700'. Notify AOGCC to witness pressure test after reverse out. 5. RU slickline and tag TOC with AOGCC witness. 6. Set whipstock on E-line. 7. Mill window and 10 ft. of formation. Liquid pack the well and cool the reservoir. 4. Jet with surfactant to cleanse the perfs of oil carry over. 5. Cement squeeze all perforations up to 3500. psi differential. 6. Reverse out cement after holding squeeze for 30 to 40 minutes. 7. Reverse in nitrogen blanket for freeze protection. 8. Leave well with WHP sufficient to maintain 500 to 1000 psi positive differential at perforations for WOC period. 9. Inflow test well by releasing trapped nitrogen blanket. 10. Samples of well cuttings and a mud log are not required. A continuous directional survey is required as per 20 AAC 25.050(b)(5). If available, a tape containing the digitized log information shall be submitted on all logs for copying except experimental logs, velocity surveys and dipmeter surveys. Many rivers in Alaska and their drainage systems have been classified a8 important for the spawning or raigration of anadromous fish. Operations in the~e areas are subject to AS 16.05.870 and the regulations promulgated thereunder (Title 5, Alaska Administrative Code). Maximum possible surface pressure is 3330 psi based on a gas column to surface from 8600' TVDss and an oil column to 8800' TVDss. Drill 12 1/4" hole to +100' TVD above the Sag River Sandstone. Run 9 5/8" 47# L-80 Buttress casing to within 5' of 12 1/4" TD and cement in twO stages: First stage using Class G cement around the 9 5/8" shoe and a second stage using Arctic Pack followed by 130 cu. ft. permafrost cement displaced through a D.V. packer collar set 80' above the 13 3/8" shoe. Drill 8 1/2" hole to T.D. Run 7" liner from T.D. to 250' inside 9 5/8" casing shoe and cement using Class G cement with 18% salt. Clean out to 7" float equipment. Change over to 9.6 ppg. NaC1 completion fluid. Test casing and lap to 3000 psi. Run CBL. Run 9 5/8" production packer on internal plastic coated tubing with gas lift mandrels and a sliding sleeve. Set packer +50' above top of liner. A subsurface safety valve with dual control lines will be placed +50' below base of permafrost. Install and test Xmas tree. Displace tubing to diesel.
