Rigged up, had to pick up 5' large bore riser to fit gauge and EZ Drill BP. Found well head pressure to be 2300 so partially killed well with kcl water and rih w/4.425" drift to 11,100 ctmd. Pooh pumping slack. 8115199 Rigged up, had to partially kill well again, and rih w/4.37" Halliburton EZ Drill BP. Tied into CET dated 12/6/86 and set EZ BP top at 11,050 elmd and flagged pipe at 11,000. Pooh pumping slack, open well to circulate down flowline. Notice that well head pressure never came down. At surface it appeared well was flowing. Pesos rigged up HB&R and performed injection test. At wellbore volume, injection was 3.8 bpm at 1000 psi. 8/16/98 Rigged up, whp 200 psi, and rih with spin, temp, and pressure tools. Made base line logging pass down from 9500 to tag at 11,050 (tied into CET dated 12/6/86) and made base line log back up to 9500. Started injection down well, and logged down to EZ BP and logged back up. Injection rate was 1.6 bpm at 2200 psi. There were two holes found at 10,294 and 10,372. Liner lap looked good. Called town for further directions. Pooh. Got approval from town to set whipstock. Lined up equipment for whipstock, rigged up and pressure tested. Rih w/whipstock and setting assembly. 8/17/99 Tied into CET dated 12/6/96 and set top of whipstock at 11,000 elmd, oriented 4.3° right of high side looking down, with Pip tag at 11,008.5 (8.5' from top of whipstock). Pu and ran in hole and tagged same; set 2k down. Good, pooh, pumped 5 bbl meoh down backside and freeze protected coil for cold storage. Note: The completion diagram shows a "XN" nipple e-line corrected depth of 9,730. No logs or telexes could be found that could prove this depth and it is believed to be erroneous. Shown on the Leak Detect log ran during this job, the "XN" nipple corrected depth is 9,758, tied into CET dated 12/6/96 at 11,000'. Also note there is a certain amount of formation "missing", about 21', from the original reference log CET, CBT, and MWD in the interval around -10,500 - 10,750. Well F-23a Prep for CT Sidetrack Well F-23 is scheduled for a through tubing sidetrack to be drilled with coiled tubing. The following summarizes the procedure required to prepare F-23 for sidetracking and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic diagram of this proposed completion is attached. 1. A Tubing Integrity Test will be performed. 2. A whipstock drift run will be done. 13. The well will be killed with seawater. 4. Service coil will be used to set a bridge plug in the 5.5" liner at approx. 11,050', just above the top existing perforation. 5. The well will be pressure tested to 1500 psi with AOGCC witness. 6. Service coil will be used to set the whipstock anchor at approx. 11,025' 7. Service coil will run a dummy whipstock stinger with a memory gyro tool to determine the orientation of the lug in the whipstock anchor. 8. Upon completion of the sidetrack, the 2 7/8" sidetrack liner will be cemented to at least 200 ft above the window to provide additional isolation from the original perforated interval. The sidetrack, F-23a, will be completed in the same reservoir interval as the original well, F-23. Steps 4 through 7 are scheduled to be started on July 26, pending approval of the Sundry Notice. Window milling and drilling are scheduled to cormnence on July 28, 1999. The Commission hereby waives the productivity profiles of PBU wells F-23 and G-23 due to the inability of conventional tools to reach the production intervals in these high angle wells. The productivity profile in PBU well B-28 is hereby waived as the well is producing from only one interval, and the survey would not provide additional data. Install blowout prevention equipment consisting of 5000 psi M.P. pipe rams, blind rams and annular preventer, maximum .possible bottomhole pressure is 4390 psi at 8800' TVDss based on original reservoir pressure. Maximum possible surface pressure is 3300 psi based on a gas column to surface from 8600' TVDss and an oil column to 8800' TVDss. Directionally drill 12-1/4" hole to the 9-5/8" casing point as per directional map. Run 9-5/8" 47# L-80 Buttress and NSCC casing (above 4500' TVD) to within 5' of 12-1/4" TD. Cement in two stages' First stage using Class G cement around the 9-5/8" shoe. The second stage to be downsqueezed in the 13-3/8" x 9-5/8" annulus followed by nonfreezing fluid. Directionally drill 8-1/2" hole maintaining an 86.2° hole angle from 8885' TVD to TD. Log 8-1/2" hole with drillpipe conveyed logging tools. Run 5-1/2" liner from 250' inside 9-5/8" casing shoe to T.D. and cement using Class G cement. Set cement filled external casing packer below the gas-oil contact. Clean out to 5-1/2" float equipment. Test casing and lap to 3000 psi. Displace mud with NaCl completion fluid. Run and retrieve perforating guns on drill pipe or tubing. Run internal plastic coated tubing with a sliding sleeve. A subsurface safety valve with dual control lines will be placed 50' below base of permafrost. Install and test Xmas tree. Set and test packer. Displace tubing to diesel through sliding sleeve. The drilling fluids program for this well will consist of 8.5 - 9.5 ppg spud mud in 17-1/2" hole, 9.0 - 9.7 ppg water based mud in 12-1/4" hole, and 9.2 ppg oil based mud in 8-1/2" hole.
