BP EXPLORATION BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. 900 East Benson Boulevard P.O. Box 196612 Anchorage, Alaska 99519-6612 (907) 561-5111 Date: Oct. 15, 1995 To: Attention' Alaska Oil & Gas Conservation Commission 3001 Porcupine Drive Anchorage, Alaska 99501 Blair Wondzell Senior Petroleum Engineer A Permit to Drill application was filed on October 24, 1995 for a coiled tubing sidetrack of well S-28. The attached Form 10-403 is being submitted to complete the application by addressing the cement squeezing of existing perforations in S- 28. Well S-28 is a high TGOR producer that has been shut-in since 9/93. Existing Ivishak perforations will be squeezed in preparation for sidetracking with coiled tubing. The intent is to isolate the original S-28 perforations and produce only from the planned sidetrack, S-28A. Coiled tubing will be used to lay 15 bbls of cement from PBTD to approximately 100 ft above the top perforation at 9754' MD. Squeeze pressure will be applied and excess cement will be dressed off to approximately 9700' MD. This top of cement is required to accommodate a whipstock that will then be set at 9682' MD for the purpose of drilling the sidetrack, S-28A.
