Diverter, BOPE and mud fluid system schematics on file with AOGCC. Hazards Sadlerochit pressure is _+3,500 psi at 8,800' TVDss or _+7.6 ppg EMW. The target polygon maintains 150ft of standoff from the faults to the north and west, but only 75- 100ft from the small south bounding fault. Small changes in amplitude along the top and base event indicate very small faults (<10') may occur within the polygon. The well i~ expected to penetrate 1 significant fault (8725' TVDSS; 9,815' MD) prior to entering the target with approximately 20ft of missing section. Depths will most likely be modified as the target is approached (depth uncertainty is +_20ft). Operational Summary 1. Set and test BPV. Remove wellhouse and flowlines, level pad, dig out cellar. 2. Test 9-5/8" packoff to 5,000psi, and function lock down screws. 3. MIRU. Circulate well with 8.5 ppg seawater. Set test dart in BPV (TWCV). ND tree, NU BOP's and test same. Pull BPV and test dart. . M/U and RIH with straight hole drilling assembly. Tag cement plug and tie-in with CCL. log. Drill cement to 7699', 5' past the top of the window. POOH and RIH with 8- 1/2"sidetracking assembly. Kick off sidetrack and drill 8-1/2" lateral to 7" casing point at 10,300'. 5. Run and cement 7" liner from 7,444' to 10,300'. Cleanout cement if necessary. Test liner lap to 3,500psi. . M/U and RIH with 6" lateral drilling assembly and drill horizontal section to TD of 11,130'. Run and cement 4-1/2" liner from 10,150' to 11,130'. Cleanout cement if necessary. Test liner lap to 3,500psi. 17-19 Drilling Permit Page 4/4 7. Hun 4-1/2" completion with 2 GLM's and permanent production packer to 9,400' (lip shear in top GLM). Test tubing and annulus to 3,500 psi. Displace well to seawater/perforating fluid. 8. M/U 2-3/4" DPC perforating guns and perforate drilled horizontal interval. POOH. 9. Set TWCV and test from above. N/D BOP's. N/U and test tree. Pull TWCV. Shear RP valve in uppermost GLM. Circulate and freeze protect well. 10. Set BPV and RDMO. PERMIT DATA T C, ATA .... The initial prognosis of 64' of light oil column has been reduced by the structure coming in 25' high and the bottom 15' being shaled out. It has been determined that the remaining 24' of 14P, which is of poorer quality rock than 13P, is not currently commercial. It is requested that K-09A be suspended with a waiver to the surface cement plug and to the original mud weight required between the surface plug and liner lap plug. The well is being suspended in this manner to facilitate future sidetracking potential. Listed below is the procedure for the suspension of K-09A. When I arrived the rig was ready to tag cement, they tripped in the hole open ended and started taking weight at approx..8970, the cement was still not setup at 8984 and the decision was made to allow some more time for cure. I returned to the rig four hours later and a successful tag of 20K at 8995' was made. The rig then set a EZSV bridge plug in the surface casing at 7519' (Shoe @ 7594) with a 7.3 bbl cement cap and 12.7 bbl's squeezed below. I witnessed a pressure test of the casing and plug of 3500 psi for 15 minutes with no loss of pressure. The rig will freeze protect the well, run in a joint of tubing and place a dry hole tree on the casing head. SUMMARY: I witnessed the verification of placement of the open Hole cement plug well #9 in the Prudhoe Bay field.
