Form 10-407 Rev. 07-01-80 K-19 DESCRIPTION OF WORK COMPLETED PRE-SIDETRACK CEMENT PLUG 08/17/98 A Cement Plugback was performed on the interval using the following fluids: SUMMARY Bull head kill well with 170 bbls fresh water. Injectivity 0 psi at 5 bpm. Rig in hole to 9250' and pull back up to 9075'. Pumped 40 bbl of "G" cement. Could not achieve bbl for bbl returns. Hesitated for 30 minutes with 0 psi. Still could not circulate. Injectivity was 80 psi at .5 bpm. Call for more cement. Pumped 20 bbl cement. Injectivity was 400 psi at 1.0 bpm; however could not get bbl for bbl returns. PUH to above calculated TOC based on amount of returns. Achieved bbl for bbl and attempted 800 psi PT, fell 100 psi in 5 minutes. Release pressure and jetted out well. Attempted pressure test again losing 70 psi in 5 minutes, released pressure and jetted out of hole. Rigged up following morning and pressure tested cement plug to 3000 psi. Rig in hole and tagged plug at 8806'ctd. AOGCC witnessed tag and PT. Pulled out of hole and rig down, prepare to move Camco to Badami. Fluids Pumped i' BBLS. The existing 3.5" 9.2# L-80 Mod Buttress tubing will be cut at 8460'MD. The well will be circulated to seawater, packoffs tested, and will be secured with a BPV and prepared for the rig's arrival. The K-19A Extended HAW Sidetrack is currently scheduled for Doyon 16. The estimated time for the start of the P&A pre-rig work is upon receipt of approved Sundry for P&A. The well is expected to begin sidetrack operations by August 19, 1998. Contact the Company Rep on rig Doyon 16 (659- 4610) for the most accurate moving schedule update. A copy of the approved Application of Sundry will be faxed to you. 1) No operations in this procedure are to be commenced without "Approval To Proceed" signatures. 2) Due to accelerated time frame, an accelerated approval (verbal/faxed/etc.) will be requested from AOGCC. In this case, a Sundry will be faxed to you upon receipt to begin P&A operations. 3) Notify an AOGCC representative prior to commencing P&A operations. K-19 was drilled and completed in December 1995. The objective of K-19A sidetrack is to optimize production in this gravity drainage area of the field, by drilling into Zone 1 fault block east of the existing well in the PBU Gravity Drainage area. K-19A is targeting mouth bar sands and attempting to optimize standoff from gas, Kavik, and conductive faults in the well trajectory. Pre-Drill P&A Operations: 1. Test 7" casing and tubing hanger packoff to 5000 psi and carefully cycle LDS. (Note: 5000 psi for mandrel casing hangers, and 3500 for slip type). 2. Pull BPV and RU wireline to pull 3.5" HES SSSV @ 2176' MD. 3. Drift the tubing to 9140' for clearance to run 4.5" IBP (see diagram) to confirm it can be set at this point (73 degrees). The IBP will have to be set on coil, and it will serve to seal off the slotted liner horizontal completion below the 7" shoe. 4. Per[ed interval above 7" shoe is 9090-9120'MD. Set IBP. Establish injection pressure and rate with seawater for CTU cement job. Place cement across perfs, squeeze, leaving cement top at 8800' MD (290' above old per[s). The tubing/casing volume is 7.29 bbls, plus "x" for squeeze volume. Tag & test P&A.. Test casing to 3000 psi against P&A cement after WOC. 5. Cut the 3 1/2" L-80 tubing in the middle of a full joint of tubing at -8460' for setting whipstock. 6. Displace the tubing and wellbore to 8.5 ppg seawater. 7. Freeze protect top 2200' MD with diesel. (May not be required if the Rig is ready to move onto well.) 8. Bleed tubing and annuli pressures to zero. Set BPV in the tubir,~ ,~anger and test from below to 1000 psi. Su,..~.re well. 10. Remove the well house and flowlines. If necessary, level the pad. Ensure with the Pad Engineer that all wells within 60' of K-19 are shut-in during MIRU and during RDMO operations with as little shut-in time as possible. The function test went well. This is the first time I have inspected this rigs new 14", single vent line Diverter system. I found the layout of the lines and preventer to be sound and sturdy. Actuation time was quick at 55 seconds with a recharge on the accumulator of 1 minute 55 seconds. SUMMARY: I witnessed the Diverter function test on Doyon rig #9.
