Cooled well down to program deepest depth, 11860' with 174 bbls water. Hole remained full throughout but circulating at very Iow pressure. Washed perforated interval with 20 bbls 15/20 HCI/Xyene. Overdisplaced and continued to cool completion interval with total of 202 bbls water. Place 50 bbl diesel pill down backside to assure balanced fluid column during cement squeeze. Pumped 23 bbls cement. Squeezed well, ramped up to 3000 psi (pumped -~3 bbls away, JFT). Reduced pressure to 500 psi. Contaminated with 59 bbls biozan, 2:1. Washed down to 11,880' as per program. Layed in 13 bbls TEA across perforations. Chased out contaminated cement washing jewelry on the way out. FP tubing and flowline. Left 500 psi on tubing, JFT. RDMO. Fluids Pumped BBLS. The cement plug was tagged with 20K pounds of drillstring weight at 10,459' MD the perforations are from 11,920' to 11,425'. The perforations were squeezed with 10 bbi's of 15.8 ppg cement with 1400 psi. The plug was tagged higher than the TOC calculations indicated and BPX rep. Michael Jackson could not explain why. Since this well is scheduled to be side tracked to a new bottom hole location and a second kick off plug ,Mil be set, I accepted this plug. Michael requested that we WOC for another 8 hours before doing the 3,000 psi pressure test. Sunday, June 10, 1996: i traveled back to Doyon 16 and witnessed the successful 3,000 psi 30 minute pressure on ~h,s plug. .SUMMARY: 1 'witnessed the tagging and pressure test on the perforation isolation cement plug at BPX PBIJ B-05A we!!. SUMMARY REDRILL PROCEDURE: 10. 11. 1. Move in drilling rig. Test 9-5/8" casing pack-off. 2. Pull BPV. Circulate diesel freeze protection cap from well. 3. Install TVVC. Test to 1000 psi from below. Remove the production tree. 4. Install BOP's and test to 250 psi/5000 psi. Remove TWC. 5. Pull and lay down the 4-1/2" tubing from the cut to surface. Inspect for NORM. Fish collapsed tubing. Mill packer and retrieve. 6. P&A existing perforations by laying in a cement plug from fill level to 100' above all perforations. 7. Displace to milling fluid. 8. Section 9-5/8" casing starting @ _+10165'. 9. Spot a balanced cement kick-off plug (190 cubic feet minimum) through open- ended drillpipe from 150' below the base of the section to 200' above the top of the section. Run in with an 8-1/2" steerable drilling assembly and dress the cement to 5' below the section top. Kickoff and directionally drill to the target per the attached directional plan. At TD run triple combo logs. Run a 7" '29# L-80 liner assembly to bottom in the 8-1/2" hole and space the liner hanger about 150' up inside the 9-5/8" casing. Estimated cement volume is 308 sx using 1.19 yield. P/U 6" bit and clean-out 7" liner to landing collar. Displace to clean seawater, Run DP conveyed perf guns and perforate. Run the 4-1/2" L-80 completion string assembly and set packer, Test tubing to 4000 psi for 30 minutes. Install and test the production tree to 5000 psi, Test tubing x casing annulus to 3500 psi for 30 minutes, Shear RP valve in the upper GLM and freeze protect the well. Set a BPV, Release rig.
