After laying the plug, Pull up to 5500' MDBKB (or high enough to insure that you are out of the cement) and circulate bottoms up. 7. Call the State to witness the plug tag in about 8 hours. . After circulating at 5500' for a minimum of 8 hours, and when the state rep. is on site to witness the tag of the plug, wash down and tag the top of the plug and set weight on the plug as requested by the state AOGCC witness. The plug needs to be at a minimum depth of 6500' and may be as high as 6000' MDBKB. If the plug is found lower than the required 6900' MDBKB, pump a second plug of densified cement with 100% excess to meet this depth requirement. Repeat steps 6-8 as required for state approval of the suspension. 9. When the plug meets the state approval, test the 9 5/8" casing stdng to 3000 PSI for 30 minutes. 10. Plug #3 was a balanced plug consisting of 86 bbi batch mixed 17 PPG densified class G cement, set across the 9 5/8" casing shoe from 7,500' to 6,619' (9 5/8' shoe @ 6,991'). We tagged the plug with 16,000~ of drill string weight and pressure test With 3,000 psi for 30 minutes. The wellbore was pressured up three times before acceptable results were achieved, on the third test the pressure declined from 3,000 to 2,800 psi during the 30 minute test. There have been two attempts to drill a bottom hole location on this, well the original TD was abandoned With a radioactive source in place from 15, 129' to 14,933', the second TD was abandoned With a BHA fish in place from 15,064' to 14,863'. Shared Services representative, Ken Meider told me that Doyon 14 Will attempt to complete the well to a new bottom hole location some time in August of this year. SUMMARY: I witnessed the successful tagging and pressure test of the suspension cement plug at Pt. Mclntyre P2-45 well. Pt. Mclntyre P2-45, I Plug, 6 Test Hours. I arrived at the rig at 2:30 AM and the test began at 3:00 AM. As the attached AOGCC BOPE Test Report shows there Was 1 failure. A flange leaked on the choke line - tightened and tested OK. The location was clean and there was good access to ali areas of the rig. The rig was clean and all other equipment seemed to be in good working order. I spoke with Doug Stoltz, ARCO rep., after completing the test at 6:00 AM concerning the surface casing cement job and he said they got in excess of 100 bbls. of cement back to surface. I ask him if he thought it channeled on him and he said no and said they had pumped 200% volume. ! ask Doug to notify me if the LOT didn't look OK and he said he would. Run 4-1/2" 13CR production tubing with 7"x4-1/2" packer, 4-1/2" SSSV, and 4-1/2"x1" GLMs. Secure well, RDMO. Production may choose to run the CBT post rig-move. Drilling Hazards/Contingencies · The original reservoir pressure is 4350 psi at 8800' ss. The expected reservoir pressure is 4475 psi at 8800' ss. This is an isolated fault block. The potential for higher pressure exists. · Tight surface hole was found in well P2-47 stuck surface casing 1600' offbottom (4770' MD, -3500- 4000' TVD). The pipe was not worked loose and was cemented in place. The production hole on P2-47 was TD'd. E-Line OH logs failed to fall deeper that 9220' TVDSS. A wiper trip resulted in DP sticking at 9221' TVDSS. The well required sidetracking and 12 ppg ilo-pro mud to control the shales. · Tight hole has been experienced in the lower Sagavanirktok, below the surface casing shoe which were set into the SV4 sand. This has caused stuck pipe incidents and bit/BHA balling Gumbo problems. · Coal stringers in the lower Ugnu have caused stuck pipe. · No major instances of lost circulation problems have occured on Pt Mac 2 wells. · If formation problems occur above the Kupamk Interval, 7" casing will top-set the Kuparuk, and the pay will be drilled out with 6" hole and completed with a 4.5" liner. The Miluveach shale will be penetrated and could cause problems with sloughing during drilling or running the casing. Mud will be weighted up in anticipation of the shale. Centralizers will not be clamped down in the lower section of the casing to prevent their hanging up on any ledges. Disposal · Cuttings Handling: Cuttings should be hauled to the ball mill at CC-2A. · Fluid Handling: Haul all drilling and completion fluids and other Class 1I wastes to CC-2A for injection. Haul all Class I wastes to Pad 3 for disposal. In addition, haul all cuttings from drilling operations to CC-2A for disposal, except any metal cuttings which will be sent to the North Slope Borough.
