Planned Pre-Riq Operations 1. Drift tubing. 2. RU coil and P&A existing perforations with 15.8 ppg Class G cement to place TOC at 9,000' MD (Note: Open perfs from 10,790' - 10,820', 10,870' - 10,900', and CIBP at 11,100'). Squeeze the cement into place. Tag and test to meet AOGCC requirements. Leave the well with a full column of 8.5 ppg sea water, and freeze protect with diesel from 2,000' to surface. If the P&A did not hold, the 8.5 ppg sea water column with 2,000' diesel cap would be 390 psi over expected pore pressure. 3. The 9 5/8" casing is set on slips. Test the 9 5/8" packoff to 3500 psi (80% of the casing collapse rating). Test the tubing hanger to 5000 psi. On both the tubing hanger and the 9 5/8" casing head, COMPLETELY BACK OUT AND CHECK EACH LOCK DOWN SCREW for breakage (check one at a time). Notify the ODE, Scott Kolstad, immediately concerning any problems with backing out the lock down screws or other potential well head problems. 4. Test the 9-5/8" casing to 3000 psi against the packer. Hold 1000 psi on the tubing to prevent from collapsing the tubing. 5. Confirm that the well is dead and has a full column of 8.5 ppg sea water with 2000' diesel cap. Punch the 7" tubing near 8300' and circulate two bottoms up (~425 bbl) to clean up the 9 5/8" x 7" annulus and equalize the hydrostatic pressure at depth. Jet cut the 7" production tubing near 6325' (above PBR and 7" liner hanger/packer assembly). 6. Set a BPV in preparation for the rig move. Assure the annuli are freeze protected to near 2000' depth. Drill 8 1/2" hole from 6,300' to 10,125' to land at about 64 degrees.in the Sag River formation. Run MWD/GR/Res+PWD real time LWD. No other logs are planned. 8. Run and cement 7" long string in top of Sag River at 10,125'. 9. Drill out 6 1/8" hole from 10,125' to 11,442' MD building to horizontal in the Sag River. Run MWD/GR/Res+PWD real time LWD. Hole pulling tite (45- 55,000#). Pipe stuck at 10,070' (uncorrected) with 0.5 bbl cement in coil. Shear dart and work pipe. Hole packed off, pumping 1.4 bpm getting back 0.2-0.5 bpm, pressure increased to 4000 psi, broke loose and getting full returns. Continue circulating and working pipe, got cement to surface at bottoms up. Work pipe to 82,000#- no movement. Raise injector and cut CT. Install overshot with pack-off and safety valve. Rig up Schlumberger to chemical cut CT. 5/14/98 10 10774 Rig up SWS E-Line to Chemical cut CT. Held Safety Meeting. M/U Chemical cutter and RIH. Sat down at 9982 ft BKB. Pick up 2 ft and fire cutter. Good indication. POOH with chemical cutter. Pull up 8-10 ft with rig blocks with CT at a steady up wt of 65K, indicating CT was cut. Release SWS. M/U internal CT connector. Pull CT with injector head to 90K. Work CT with 60 - 90K six times with no luck. CT is still Stuck. Call Atlas for second chemical cut. R/U Baker overshot on CT again. TIH w/chemical cutter. Hold kick drill with safety stabbing valve. Cut 200' of pipe to move fatigue point away from window. MU new CTC and RIH BHA#20 with new Sperry Tools. Tie-in to GR at RA tag. Correct -37ft. Orient 5R and drill from 10136' - 10280' at 60FPH average ROP. Make short trip to window. Drill to 10451, short trip to window. Had overpull and motor work in shale section 10200'-10175'. Orient toolface and drill to 10576'. 5/20/98 16 11205 Drilling horizontal from 10576 - 10585 ft. POOH for new bit and motor. Hole was clean. M/U BHA #21 with 1.25 deg motor and DS49HGJU bit. C/O Sperry tools. RIH with BHA #21. Tie- in with GR at RA tag. RIH and orient TF. Drill horizontal hole from 10576 - 10750' at 8940' TVD, 150' wiper trip. Confirmed with Geologist and decided to build up due to marker bed that was encountered 10' TVDss higher. Drill horizontal with slight build from 10750-900'. Wiper trip to window. Change out mud to new FIo Pro. Tie-in, add 4.5'. Drill ahead from 10900- 11085'. Wiper trip to window. Drill ahead 11085-205' at 8933' TVD. 5/21/98 17 11573 Drilled from 11205' to 11256'. Wiper trip to window and check out MP#1 pulsation damper. Damper OK, TIH and back to drilling. Slow drilling at 11266' Having trouble achieving reasonable ROP. POOH at 11359' Changed out entire BHA. The sidetrack, J-05a, will target mid Zone 2. This sidetrack will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1: Set whipstock and downsqueeze abandonment cement: Planned for 4~24~98. · An inner annulus pressure test has been performed. A Kinley caliper has been run over the tubing and liner. · A permanent whipstock will be set on ELine at approximately 9930' MD, 106 ft above the top existing peroration. · Existing perorations will be abandoned with approx. 20 bbls cement by downsqueezing past the whipstock. Abandonment cement will be pressure tested to 1500 psi with AOGCC witness. Phase 2: Mill Window and Drill Directional Hole: Planned for 4~27~98. Directional drilling coil tubing equipment will be rigged up and utilized to mill the window and drill the directional hole as per attached plan to planned TD of 11,685' MD (8,961' TVDss). Mud Program: - Phase 1: Seawater - Phase 2: FIo-Pro (8.8 - 8.9 ppg) Casing Program: - 2 7/8", 6.16#, L-80, ST-L liner will be run from TD to approx. 9700' MD and cemented with approx. 23 bbls. cement.
