Reluctant to get another click as it didn't seem to help last time,
but have no other choice, as no loss of reactive during drilloff.
Pick up and get I click. Got TF of 231 deg, RIH and try it
again.

back. Looks like typical window milling. Checked with Wells
Group PE's, the bond log fax I got shows a 9-5~8" casing collar
at 8910', which is where we are. Consult with town. POOH for
!BHA.

m at a rate that keeps motor work at 500 psi. Getting good drill
offs on both motor work and WOB. TF around to 177.
15:40 - 17:15 1.58 STWHIP P WEXlT Pump 30 bbl sweep of 5% lubtex/KCL. Mill at 6 minutes per
0.1'. Mill from 8911.0' to 8913.2'. WOB up to 4900 lbs, CTP
up to 2740 psi. Stop 6/0.1' until it drills off.

Well 5-12A is scheduled for a through tubing sidetrack to be drilled with coiled
tubing. The following summarizes the procedure required to prep 5-12A for
drilling and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic
diagram of this proposed completion is attached.
]. Tree wing & master valves will be tested.
2. Using slickline, the tubing will be drifted.
3. Inner Annulus will be liquid packed and pressure tested.
4. A mechanical plug will be set with e-line in the 3-3/16" liner at 9200' (8782'
TVDss).
5. A mechanical whipstock will be set with e-line in the 3-3/16" liner at 9160'
(8759' TVDss).
d. Service coil may then mill a 2.8" window out of the 3-3/16" liner.
Slickline, wireline & service coil prep work is expected to commence November
10, 2001. Coil tubing drilling operations, as detailed below will commence
November 15, 2001.
1. A 3" sidetrack, -1670' long will be drilled out of the 3-3/16" liner into the
Zone lA reservoir.
2. The sidetrack will be completed with a 2-3/8", solid, cemented & perforated
liner.

February, 26t1999: I traveled to DS 5 to witness a BOP test on Nabors CDR #1.
The rig is in better shape all the time but it still is an ongoing project. They are
just about finished with this well and it will be interesting to see how long it takes
to move the rig and outbuildings. The test went well although the crews are still
learning their jobs
SUMMARY: I witnessed a BOP test on CDR #1, 0 failures, 3.5 hours.

CDR coil drilling unit. They are still working on the rig. It is somewhat
winterized but they still need more heaters. The test was going well but I had to
leave for Badami, 4 hours into the test.
SUMMARY: I witnessed a BOP test on CDR-l, 6 hours,0 failures.

The permit to rcdrill does not exempt you from obtaining additional permits required by law from
other governmental agencies, and does not authorize conducting drilling operations until all other
required permitting determinations are made.
Blowout prevention equipment (BOPE) must be tested in accordance with 20 AAC 25 035.
Sufficient notice (approximately 24 hours) must be given to allow a representative of the
Commission to witness a test of BOPE installed prior to drilling new hole. Notice may be given
by contacting the Commission petroleum field inspector on the North Slope pager at 659-3607.

Intended Procedure
Objective:
Plugback existing wellbore. Directionally drill a horizontal well from the
existing wellbore. Complete with 3-3/16" cemented liner. Perforate and
produce.
Intended Procedure:
· Cement squeeze and plugback the existing completion to - 8560' md.
Mill window in 9-5/8" casing at ~9070' md. Drill 10' of formation with
8.9 ppg Flopro fluid and perform Leak off test to 9.4 ppg.
Directionally drill 4.125" x 2200' horizontal well to access Lower Romeo
reserves. Build angle to -92° at TD.
· Run and cement 3-3/16" liner to TD.
· Perforate selected intervals.
· Place well on production.
