Each of these wells was found to have a void in the conductor. These voids were filled with cement and corrosion inhibitor, engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serves as notification that the treatments took place and meets the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. The cement was pumped on 3/21, 5/9, 5/23 and 5/24, 2011. The corrosion inhibitor /sealant was pumped 6/18, 6/19, 6/20 and 6/21, 2011. The attached spreadsheet presents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling, and volumes used on each conductor. Please call MJ Loveland or Martin Walters at 907 - 659 -7043, if you have any questions. ,, Sincerely, / /cjl------ MJ L veland ConocoPhillips Well Integrity Projects Supervisor 0 • ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc. On January 5, 1985 the polymer pilot project for Kuparuk water injection well 1E-30 was terminated. Initial polymer concentrations of 1000 ppm (no crosslinker) in 1600 BWPD were unsustainable due to high injection pressures. Additional attempts to inject polymer proved successful when polymer was injected at lower concentrations (15 ppm in 1000 BWPD). Polymer concentrations were gradually increased over several months until the maximum cutoff pressure fo 1400 psi was reached with a polymer concentration of 266 ppm in November, 1984. Injection logs run in 1E-30 indicated successful profile modification. ~_~re the sequence of significant events for the polymer project. 14. On December 31, 1982, Kuparuk River Unit Well 1E-30 was stimulated with 86 bbls of 15% HC1 through coiled tubing. All surface lines and BOP's were pressure tested to 4000 psig. The maximum coiled tubing pressure observed was 3900 psig and the maximum tubing pressure was 900 psig. 105 MCF of nitrogen were injected via the coiled tubing to aid in cleanup. Following the cleanup period the well was switched to the CPF. The post-acid well test showed this well producing 2000 BOPD as compared to the pre-acid rate of 500 BOPD. 14. Thin stringers and layers (0.5-2.5' thick) of siderite cemented sandstone occur sporadically in the shale interval. Sandstone, light tan or greenish, fine to medium grained, containing quartz, black chert, glauconite. Thinly laminated with muddy interlaminae in the upper 3', generally massive- laminated. Slightly bioturbated and burrowed throughout. Moderate to heavy oil stain, strong odor throughout. Consistent show analysis of even golden fluorescence, amber to light amber cut, bright milky - yellow streaming cut fluorescence, fairly good show, with good visual porosity. Interlaminated to interbedded sandstone, shale, siltstone. Sandstone/siltstone laminae are rusty brown, very fine to medium grained, quartzose. Generally homogeneous laminated bedding with zones of intense bioturbation throughout interval. Shows are good in the upper 100' of the interval with 100% oil stain in sandstone layers, even orange fluorescence, light amber cut, streaming light bluish to white cut fluorescence, stronq odor. The lower portion of the interval provided fair shows, 100% oil stain in sandstones, mottled gold and orange fluorescence, amber cut, milky-gray cut fluorescence, fair-weak odor. ARCO Alaska, Inc. proposes to acidize Kuparuk River Unit Well 1E-30 through coiled tubing to improve the well's productivity. The initial production test on this well indicated a high skin factor and a corresponding low flow efficiency. Other Kuparuk wells with similar characteristics have shown marked improvements following acid treatments. The treatment will consist of 3612 gals of 12% HC1 with mud and silt remover additives. The coiled tubing unit BOP's wi'll be pressure tested to 4000 psig. The end of the coiled tubing will be positioned initially just below the lowermost perforations and then pulled up across the perforations as the acid is pumped. Pump pressure will be limited to 4000 psig and the tubing pressure will be limited to 1500 psig. Following the acid treatment, nitrogen will be injected through the coiled tubing and aid the cleanup. During cleanup the well will be produced to tanks on location. Following the cleanup the well will be produced to CPF1. Expected start date' December 5, 1982. Selected intervals will be logged. A 20", 2000 psi annular diverter will be installed on the 16" conductor while drilling the surface hole. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOPE stack will be installed on the 10-3/4" surface pipe. It will be tested upon installation and weekly thereafter. Test pressure will be 3000 psig (1800 psi for annular). Maximum expected surface pressure is 2630 psig. Pressure calculations are based on current reservoir pressure. Surface pressure calculated with unexpanded gas bubble at surface including temperature effects. The well will be completed with 3-1/2", 9.2# J-55 buttress tbg. Non-freezing fluids will be left in uncemented annuli through the permafrost interval. Selected intervals will be perforated within the Kuparuk formation.and reported on subject reports. This distance was calculated using the gyro multi-shot survey on 1E-lA and the straight-line projected well course for 1E-30. Because the course direction in 1E-lA is approximately S15°E and the projected course for 1E-30 is S50°W, the major axis of these wells ellipses of uncertainty will be about perpen- dicular to one another. Therefore, the ellipses of uncertainty will not overlay. When the proposed 1E-30 crosses 1E-lA, a Dyna-Drill will be in the hole and surveys will be taken every thirty to sixty feet (30-60'.). If survey calculations indicate that a crossing of less than fifty feet (50') will occur, then Well 1E-lA will be shut in and casing and tubing pressures will be monitored until a safe crossing is evident. In addition to the fact that Well #30 is being directed perpendicularly away from well #lA, the on-site rig personnel and supervisors will continuously monitor all parameters as the interval of interest is drilled.
