Well A-31 ai Prep for CT Sidetrack Well A-31 is scheduled for a through tubing sidetrack to be drilled with coiled tubing. The following summarizes the procedure required to prepare A-31 for sidetracking and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic diagram of this proposed completion is attached. 1. A Mechanical Integrity Test will be performed with AOGCC witness. 2. A Schmoo-B-Gone treatment was performed on 5/7/99. 3. A Kinley caliper was run on 5/10/99. 4. A whipstock drift run was done on 5/9/99. 5. E-Line will be used to set a mechanical whipstock in the 7" liner at approx. 9,584'. 6. After approval of the Permit to Drill, drilling coil will be used to pump approx 25 bbls cement to abandon the existing Sag R and Ivishak perfs. Abandonment cement will be pressure tested to 2200 psi with AOGCC witness prior to milling the window with drilling coil. 7. The 2 7/8" sidetrack liner will be cemented to at least 200 ft above the window to provide additional isolation. Steps 5, setting the whipstock, is scheduled for June 21, 1999. Step 6, squeezing cement, is scheduled to be performed by the drilling coil on July 7, 1999, pending approval of the Permit to Drill. These dates are based on our estimate for completion of summer rig maintenance currently in progress.
