Sk-18 LP compressors shut down because of a problem associated with recycle valve failure on IP machine K-207, which caused machie to trip on a surge. Action Taken to Stop Flaring: 1. Cut back 13 wells to GC-2 for a total of about 105 mmcf/d. As well as cutting wells at GC-1 &3, & EOA. 2. Switched 80 mmcf/d to the Annex system at GC-1. Cut rates of another 170 mmcf/d for a total rate cut of 250 mmcf/d HP gas. Got machine restarted. High gas transit line pressure caused by CGF compressor problems due to MI compressors shutting down at 07:40 hrs which caused high FSIM pressure. CGF lost their tandem compressor K-1883 at 09:53 hrs followed by CGF loosing their two booster compressors at 09:59 hrs. CGF lost another tandem compressor, K-1886, at 10:12 hrs. Action Taken to Stop Flaring: 1. WOA reduced production rates and shut-in several wells equaling 767 mmscfd. EOA reduced production rates and shut-in several wells equaling 904 mmscfd. Wells were shut-in or choked back starting at 07:45 hours. When CGF lost their tandem compressor at 09:53 hrs, EOC requested FS-1 Annex and GC-1 Annex to start flaring about 300-350 mm each. EOA & WOA continued to cut gas rates as CGF kept losing compressors. At 11:22 hrs, EOC advised that CGF had tandem compressor K-1886 on line.
