We are in the process of starting up a new 36" line between pt Macintyre and GC1 as part of the waterwheel project. We will be warming the line up with gas prior to introducing liquids into the line. Once the line is warmed up, we will depressure it back to -150 psig through a slugcatcher at GC1. We will then have to fully depressure the line to atmosphere in order to safely pull the final blinds to put the line in service. We have calculated that this flared volume will be approximately 4 MMSCF. I will send a follow up email with the actual volume flared after the event. Please call or email if you need additional clarification. GC1 Operations determined a safe way to remove the blinds without depressuring to atmosphere.
