NSK Env Coord Donnelly&Smith cn1037Kconocophillips.com> To: James Regg <jim reggOadmin.state.ak.us> Jim: We are still chasing this down, but here is what we know so far: The assist gas volume at CPF1 increased significantly in November. This makes sense because the smokeless flares were down for maintenance, and we were using the east main flare. Since the east main flare is not smokeless, we use more assist gas to make sure we do not generate black smoke. From reviewing CPF1 Setcim data, it looks like the pilot purge volume was relatively flat. The pilot purge volume is calculated by Revenue Accounting personnel in Anchorage. We are working with CPF1, Setcim, and Revenue Accounting to resolve the issue. Thanks.
