The offline T/C 1855 was started, and stabilized facility process and normal operations. The flaring event began at 1810 and ended at 1842 (32 minutes), the total volume flared from meter #660 was 5036 MSCF and from meter #618 was 387 MSCF. Total volume flared from the event was 5423 MSCF. An extended event occurred at FS1 on April 30 when the LPS turbine /compressor 1804 shut down because of a problem associated with adjustment of the vibration shut down set points. The flaring event began at 1717 and ended at 1814 (57 minutes), the total volume flared from this event was 12,588 MSCF. Shortly after restarting this machine the LPS T/C 1803 shut down for an unknown reason. The flaring event began at 1817 and ended at 1847 (30 minutes), the total volume flared was 6,354 MSCF. An event at FS3 that occurred on April 21 had the total volume flared changed from 705 MSCF to 723 MSCF. On 5/22 an extended event occurredt due to rapidly increasing ambient temperature. Controlled venting of the propane storage drum was conducted to allow for additional vapor space in the refrigeration system. Total duration of the event was 79 minutes. Total volume flared was 46 MSCF. An extended flaring event occurred at Gel on 5/24. Temporary jumper piping was flushed through the C- slug catcher to prep for de- mobilization work. Total duration of the event was 147 minutes. Total volume flared was 1,531 MSCF. An extended flaring event occurred on 5/25 at GC2 when IP compression was swapped from K207 to K208 to enable repair of an oil leak on K207. Total duration of the event was 82 minutes. On 5/12 an extended event occurred at C Colf when T/C 1805 shut down due to an instrument problem. Total duration of the event was 84 minutes. Total volume flared was 12,228 MSCF. Two extended flaring events occurred at GC2 on 5/13 and 5/14. Both events were related to the full plant shut down initiated due to an inadvertent valve closure on the oil transit line. The first event began at 07:37 and ended at 23:40. Flaring from the IP and LP vessels occurred during troubleshooting and plant restart preparation. The second event began at 01:38 and ended at 11:00 when sufficient oil rate was brought on line to allow the IP /LP compressors to load up. Total duration and volume for the first event was 963 minutes and 16,719 MSCF. The second event had a total duration and volume of 572 minutes and 596 MSCF. An extended flaring event occurred on 5/14 at FS3 while performing safe out operations in preparation for unplanned maintenance on T/C 1801. T /C's 1801 and 1802 are the STV /IP machines for FS3 and both needed to be shut down to install blinds to enable repairs to 1801. 1801 sustained damage during the full field shut down (CPS power outage). The flaring event began on 5/14 at 09:00 and ended on 5/15 at 23:59 (39 hours), total volume flared was 14,125 MSCF. Four extended flaring events occurred at FS1 on from 5/15 through 5/17. All four events were associated with planned maintenance (water washes) on LPS T /C's 1803 and 1804. The first two events were the spin cooling to prep for the water wash and cranking during the water wash for T/C 1803. The second two events were for T/C 1804 (same activities). 1803 spin cool 120 minutes, 775 MSCF and crank 90 minutes, 572 MSCF - - -- both on 5/15 1804 spin cool 118 minutes, 658 MSCF and crank 60 minutes, 383 MSCF - - -- 5/16 spin and 5/17 crank An extended flaring event occurred on 5/18 at GC3 to depressure D -bank, 1st stage, HP separator piping to repair a small leak. The event began at 15:50 and ended at 17:45. Total duration was 115 minutes, total volume was 399 MSCF. On 5/19 an extended flaring event occurred at CGF. MI T/C 1855 was shut down and depressured to repair an oil leak. Total duration was 155 minutes, total volume was 285 MSCF. 5/20/2008 GPB Gas Flaring Events Page 2 of 2 If you require additional information, please don't hesitate to call me. They have been trying to complete the welding on this line and have had difficulty getting the LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) down to an acceptable level for welding. The current plan is to shutdown DS6 tomorrow or Tuesday in order get the sleeve welded. Once welding has taken place they will move forward with purging the line and smart pigging. The flaring is due to leaking valves that will be replaced. The flaring volume for each 24 hour period from 7/24 until yesterday has been 103 MSCF. Since they have not been able to complete the welding I wanted to give you the volumes through July and we now have 2 days in August with the same volume each day (103 MSCF). July 24th to July 31st 103 MSCF each day and the total volume during this time was 824 MSCF. August 1st and August 2nd 103 MSCF each day and total volume of 206 MSCF to date. Piping was depressured and isolated for this maintenance. The flared volume was reported on meter #618. The event began at 22:50 and ended at 23:45 (55 minutes), total volume flared was 10000 MSCF. An extended flaring event occurred at GC1 on August 28 due to the IP compressor surging from low oil rates with the GC1 annex not operating. This flaring was intermittent while GC operations personnel attempted to reload the equipment. The flaring event began at 10:00 and ended at 18:00 (480 minutes), total volume flared was 900 MSCF. This was caused by a Toss of electrical power to the CGF utilities section at approximately 20:58, which caused the tandems and booster compressors to shut down on high lube oil temperature. This increased the transit gas pressure, and several facilities (listed below) were forced to flare. Rate was reduced by shutting in high gas wells until CCP could handle the gas load from the field. The cause of the electrical shutdown is under investigation. CGF began coming back online at approximately 00:10, and was fully operational by approximately 09:00 on 10/15/08. GC1 at 10/14/2008 starting at 21:04 and stopping at 10/14/2008 22:02 with a volume of 7048 (MSCF). The event lasted for 58 minutes.
