SUPPLEMENT TO
FACILITY REPORT OF PRODUCED GAS DISPOSITION
Nicolai Creek Unit No. 3 Facility, Operated by Aurora Gas, LLC
Nicolai Creek Field, February 2001
The volume of gas vented indicated in item 4. on the attached Form 10-422, 4146 MCF,
was vented to the atmosphere during the preparation for and the conducting of the Multi-
Point Gas Well Open Flow Test of the recently reworked No. 3 well. The venting
occurred between 1030 hrs on 2/23/01 and 1020 hrs on 2/25/01. The results of this test
were reported on the Form 10-421 submitted on 4/26/01. The total volume vented was
estimated from readings of the orifice meter on the test separator at 15-60 minute
intervals, but all volumes were not recorded on the meter chart.

SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT -FORM 10-422
FACILITY REPORT OF PRODUCED GAS DISPOSITION
AURORA GAS, LLC, Operator
NICOLAI CREEK UNIT NO.3
SEPTEMBER 2001
The Form 10-422, Facility Report of Produced Gas Disposition, for the month of
September 2001 indicates that a volume of gas was vented during times exceeding an
hour. The reason for this venting is to: 1) condition the well for start up of production,
and 2) start-up, test, and adjust the production equipment, which includes: production
unit, glycol (TEG) dehydrator, compressor, and facility electricity generator. The well
required conditioning due to the introduction of 1100 (+/-) barrels of KCl water during
the cleanout and workover in December 2000. Some of this fluid was recovered when
the well was flow tested in February of 2001, but most of it remained in the well and
reservoir. This fluid was being produced at a higher rate than the design rate of the
production equipment, so it was vented into a test tank to recover these fluids. This
venting took place for a total of 73.25 hours over a period of days, including 12 days
between September 15th and 30th; The volume of gas was not measured during this time
but is estimated to average about 125 mcf/hour (3000 mcfpd~this rate is substantiated
by the rate of initial sales metered in early October. During this September time period,
406 barrels of load water was recovered (5.5 bph or an estimated 44 barrels per million
cubic feet).
Notification of Aurora's plans to vent the well was given to the AOGCC via email and
phone conversations from Jeff Osborne of Fairweather E & P Services, engineering
consultants to Aurora Gas, to Tom Maunder of the Commission on September 14th
Although the period of days extended beyond that original planned, the actual time of
venting the well (hours) and total volume expected to be vented did not exceed the plans
conveyed in the notification. (The well was vented for another 5 hours in early October,
mostly for periods of less than 1 hour, in the start-up process). The well was put on
stream with first sales on October 3rd, 2001.
