Gas Flaring or Vent Incident Exceeding One Hour
The amount of gas released and burned is minimized as much as is possible,
however gas is continually flared at the platform. The sources of the flared
gas are listed below.
1. Flare pilot gas,
2. Water oxygen stripping tower (waterflood operations),
3. Gas surges from well "heading" (gas lift operations) and
4. Excess fuel gas.
Weare investigating installing additional process equipment on the platform
that will enable us to dehydrate and export excess any fuel gas. Flared
volumes will be reduced further when this equipment is installed.
