Below please find an explanation of changes and future plans. Falls Creek (FC) Pad Pad -based compression and the initiation of foamer injection into the wellbore to lift produced water has essentially eliminated gas venting to keep the FC #1 rd, FC #3, and FC #4 wells flowing to sales. Grassim Oskolkoff (GO) Pad No gas venting to keep the wells unloaded has been necessary since mid - November 2007. Marathon installed pad -based compression and began gas compression on December 3, 2007. Due to compression, GO #1 is producing to sales without the need to vent to atmosphere. GO #2 remains shut in for evaluation to shut off excessive water and re- establish economic gas production. A coiled tubing velocity string was installed in the GO #3 well in mid - November 2007 to eliminate the necessity for venting. The well is currently shut in waiting on stickline work to clear debris from the velocity string and reinstate gas sales. GO #5 is waiting on adding perforations to achieve an economic gas rate. The GO #6 well is 1/22/2008 FW: Ninilchik Venting Update 1/21/2008 Page 2 of 2 producing to sales and is being considered for foamer or velocity string installation to prevent liquid loading. Marathon anticipates adding the new well, GO #7, in the first quarter of 2008. Ninilchik State (NS) Pad NS #1 and NS #3 are flowing to sales line pressure at sufficient gas rates to prevent liquid loading. Paxton Pad Marathon installed a coiled tubing velocity string in the Paxton #1 wellbore on 1/26/2007. Since the installation, Marathon has eliminated the periodic venting of this well to unload produced water and maintain gas production. Marathon has spudded and is currently drilling the Paxton #2 Tyonek well at this writing. Susan Dionne (SD) Pad SD #3 and SD #4 are producing at sufficiently high enough gas sales rates from each well to unload produced water without venting. It should be pointed out that Marathon has been successful in limiting or eliminating gas venting by installing coiled tubing velocity strings in some of these wells. If the SCSSV regulations are implemented and this equipment is installed, it will prevent the deployment of these coiled tubing velocity strings or capillary foamer strings in the future.
