Tyonek PIatfonn Subject: Tyonek Platform Date: Mon, 2 Jun 200308:27:46 -0800 From: "Shannon Donnelly" <Shannon.Donnelly@conocophillips.com> To: steve_mcmains@admin.state.ak.us Steve- On June 1, 2003 between 8:25 am and 8:54 am there was a process upset in the separation system at the Tyonek Platform. A block valve on separator 104 cut out, causing an unplanned release of production gas to the platform's production deck. The release was small in volume, estimated at well under 1 MMscfs. The platform emergency shut down system was activated and the platform was depressured without incident. In follow up to the release, all separation valves that are exposed to pressure drops were inspected and/or replaced. Thank you for your assistance with the reporting procedure.
