Jim Regg would like to see the break down of the events for flaring less that one hour for the month of August to match 10,157 mcf. These events are not required to be reported monthly, but if there are questions about the flaring volumes a similar report for less than 1 hour should be made available to AOGCC. Steve .~ 1 "of 1 10/28/2004 1 :29 PM Flared volumes Steve, The log book shows that the flared volumes <1 hour in August 04 were mostly associated with A-OS. Because the platform was producing at higher header pressures, A-OS was unable to lift water out and we were blowing it to the flare to increase the rate enough to remove water from the tubing. Cb'lX'r\.tljÙ~ ().(k\í..ixn~V' - 0.8f2- /7/D'; In April and May of 2003, A-13 started producing water. The platform was blowing that well down regularly, trying to keep the water unloaded so it would flow. This well was finally shut-in and worked over in late 2003, installing smaller tubing. A plug was set above the watered-out zone. If you need more information, please let me know. Clark@conocophillips.com>, "Donnelly, Shannon" <Shannon.Donnelly@conocophillips.com> Steve- We researched your question from yesterday about the shift in reported monthly pilot flare volumes starting in mid-2003. Prior to mid 2003, the LP flare monitors were metered; pilot flare volumes were calculated to be approximately 3,000 scf/day. In mid-2003, an HP/LP pilot flare volume meter was installed and reported volumes were measured instead of calculated. This is the reason for the sudden change in reported pilot flare volumes.
