To avoid damage to a well bore, the waste of oil, and starting the ten-year period under AS 38.05.180(f)(5), Forest Oil and the Alaska Division of
Oil and Gas agreed to enter into a Settlement Agreement whereby the State of Alaska is paid a royalty of 1.00 (100%) on all of the production test
oil from the RU#1 well that is transported off the lease/Unit rather than having it injected down the well annulus.
