Report Date: 11/9/2001 Page: 1 of 1 Anna, Bruce flaring Subject: Anna, Bruce flaring Date: Wed, 3 Oct 2001 16:37:25 -0700 From: "Johnston, David W -Contract" <johnstond@unocal.com> To: "McMains, Stephen E -Vendor" <Steve_McMains@admin.state.ak.us> CC: "Bounds, Janet G" <boundsj@unocal.com> Steve, Unocal asked that I give you a heads up concerning an increase in flaring on Anna and Bruce platforms. The two platforms are shutting down their common gas line in order to install blind flanges on the Bruce Platform. The flanges will then allow a short section of gas line to be removed so that a riser can be installed for accepting smart pigs for pipe inspection. The shutdown time is expected to be about 12-16 hours. Only formation gas will be flared, and will be limited to that volume remaining in the line that cannot be used for fuel. Unocal will report the actual volume flared on the 10-422 report for October. Give a call should you have any questions. Dave Johnston 263-7627 1 of 1 10/3/01 3:42 PM ALASKA OIL AND.
