WMRU historically has flared a small amount of gas that usually consisted of only pilot and purge. However, the process has changed with the need to run the West Foreland (WF) gas compressor. As a result, WF gas wells (WF -2A & WF -28) were producing a combined 310 MCFD that had to be sent solely to WMRU until a wellhead booster gas compressor could be installed. WMRU currently produces about 150 MCFD (650 BOPD x.235 GOR) derived from solution gas and with one turbine generator online, WMRU consumes about 275 MCFD and was flaring about 180 MCFD with both WF wells online. Plans are currently underway to install a wellhead booster gas compressor where WF gas wells will feed the new booster gas compressor. The new booster gas compressor will then feed the existing WF gas compressor. It is expected to take 40 — 60 days to have the new booster gas compressor online. In an effort to reduce flaring at WMRU, WF -2A was shut-in on 5-29-2013 to lower the flare amount at WMRU to between 50 and 100 MCFD. We feel there is no risk to shut in WF -2A due to minimum water production. However, WF -213 does produce water and if production was reduced further or shut-in then there would be risk of damaging the formation as seen on the WF # 1 well when operated by DNR when the properties were in bankruptcy. Other attempts are underway to further reduce flaring at WMRU until the booster compressor can be installed at WF. These include increasing fuel gas demand at WMRU by increasing electrical load and supplying WF gas for fuel gas to the WF gas compressor.
