We-still do not have a .stand-by machine (although it is due back some time after 3/21). The repair this time consisted of adding a missing connector and adjusting the spring on the IP recycle valve. The entire event took 73 minutes and incurred two starts. All flaring is combined STV/IP and no assist gas. Due to the short duration of the repair no effort was made to adjust incoming rates. This was found during investigation of this incident as a result of Wendy Mahan's (AOGCC) request on 1/6/2000 for additional information to further explain the FS2 80,095 MSCF flare volume reported in the October 1999 Gas Disposition Report. Upon researching the operator logs at the EOC and FS2 it appeared that the facility was shutdown and isolated 21 minutes after the loss of power, which would result in significantly less flare volume than reported. Upon review of the flare volume calculation with FS2 personnel it was apparent that a mistake was made and the recalculated flare volume for the day is now 10,551 MSCF. A revised flare report has been completed and was faxed down to you yesterday. Please work with Wendy Mahan to resolve the best means of resolving the gas accounting revision. Wendy, if you need further explanation for this event given the new corrected flare volume, please get back to either me or my alternate Jim Mullins. We apologize for any extra work on your part resulting from this error.
