The compressor was restarted after repairing the waste heat dampers limit switches. 12,226 mcfwere reportedly flared from 3:05 to 4:45 a.m. I spoke to Marty Scheerer, EOC specialist, on November 28 about the event. Nothing was done to minimize flaring during this event. He could not give a reason why production wasn't shut-in to minimize the flaring. He felt that since it was early in the morning the operator probably didn't want to wake a supervisor and may have also though the event wouldn't last over an hour. I sent a letter to John Minier, EOC supervisor, also on November 28, 1995 asking him to submit additional infonnation by December 15, 1995. He has not responded. I recommend that the gas flared from 4:05 until 4:45 be declared waste, estimated at 4,890 mcf. e . .,., e ~;;'¡rj" ¡'~: ;?, j' ¡::,~. f .J :' ALAS~ QIL A.ND GASCONSER~A.TIONCOMMISSION FACILITY REPORT OF PRODUCED GAS DISPOSITION Facility FLOW STATION 1 Operator ARCO ALASKA, INC.
