That same day the line was isolated and depressured from its normal operating pressure of 2000# down to 200# via the low pressure commonline back to the flow station. The following day on the 31st the line was vented locally at the Sag River bridge from 200# to 0# to isolate for blinding and repairs. The time of this event was from 1500-1800 hrs and the estimated volume was 1500 MSCF. If any further information is required, please feel free to contact me at 659-5566. The Gas Section Operator was in the local conuol room changing lamps on the valve indicator mimic panel. A start was given to the machine at 0850 hrs and the machine was running at 0915 hrs, but at a gas generator speed insufficient to complete the start-up sequencing (4520 RPM vs 4650 RPM required). Production cuts were not initiated at this time as completion of the start-up sequence seemed probable and the unit would be available for service. Instrumentation techs attempted to increase the speed to allow for loading but were unsuccessful. Production cuts were initiated at 0933 hrs. The unit was tripped off line at 0947 hrs and restarted at 1003 hrs. The unit was running at 1020 hrs but again was lacking only a few RPM to complete the start sequence. Recycle through the compressor was reduced and the speed increased sufficiently to complete sequencing. The compressor was loaded at 1036 hrs and the flow station was offflare at 1039 hrs. Production cuts made for the event totaled 21 wells. for a combined gas rate of 186 ~ MMSCF/D. JAN 1 8 2001 Alaska Oil & Gas Cons.
