The injection well was shut in, resulting in gas flaring. MGC-A shutdown due to power supply fuse blown Trouble shot for 2 hrs and not able to locate (short circuit). rt¡ooo ß~ (,J,)"'.. ./' problem. Cut production to stop flaring during wt-yE.'\) ~ troubleshooting. Pulled card connectors, , replaced fuse and reconnected cards one at a time to try to locate problem w/o success. Further investigation needed. Inadvertant total plant shutdown occurred while Error resulted from misinterpretation of the troubleshooting the UPS system to find the source of troubleshooting procedure. Consulted a power supply ground fault. manufacturer for clarification and held training courses for electricians to prevent a future occurrence.
