Bello Wendy
We have scheduled maintenance coinciding with an extended quarterly
inspection of C-20 on the Steelhead platform. The work is scheduled for
April 4 - 6, 2000. We are estimating approximately 25 mmscf will be flared.
In order to reduce flare volumes additional contract personnel will be
brought on board to expedite the process. Replacement components are on
site.
Please contact me should you need further information.
Thank you,
Janet G. Bounds

Hello Wendy,
Yesterday C-20 on the Steelhead Platform was shut down for 16 hours to
perform an annual preventative maintenance inspection. Flare volume was
increased for less than 4 MMCF during this time. The lift rate on wells was
lowered to reduce flare volumes, plus needed parts were on hand and extra
personnel were brought on board to complete the .work efficiently. This
event will be recorded on the excess flare log as required.
Thank you,
Janet G. Bounds

Wendy,
In order to improve production form M-2 we need to unload the well. Flare
volumes will increase for a maximmum rate of 10 mmcfd for less than 24
hours. A 100 psi flowing tubing pressure is required to accomplish this
procedure. Since our minimum suction pressure for compression is
approximately 300 psi, the well must be taken to flare. This procedure will
result in higher gas rates and recovery from the M-2 well. We anticipate
conducting this procedure today or tomorrow.

Hello Wendy
We are planning to begin testing and cleaning out M-2 prior to placing the
well on production. We are estimating that less than 10 mmcfd will be
flared for 24 hours or less. We should begin later today if all goes well.
Thank you,
Janet
