The gas production was siginificantly increased from previous months because the West
McArthur River Unit Well NO.3 was completed and began producing on July 4, 1995. A
second gas-fired turbine was required to provide power to artificially lift Well No. 3 which
burned some of the incremental gas volume from Well NO.3. However, the net result
from completing Well NO.3 was an increase in gas flared.

In accordance with 20 AAC 25.235(b) for Gas Disposition, the West McArthur River Unit
flared on a continuous basis 2,868 MCF during June 1995. The estimated rate required

Gas-fired turbines to generate electricity were on line at West McArthur River Unit during
June 1995. These turbines have increased the amount of gas burned for lease
operations and subsequently reduced the amount of gas burned in the safety flare.
Stewart Petroleum Company will continue to utilize the gas as much as possible for
lease operations which win minimize the amount burned in the safety flare.

Facility Report of Produced Gas Disposition
West McArthur River Unit
May 1995
In accordance with 20 AAC 25.235(b) for Gas Disposition, the West McArthur River Unit
flared 3,376 MCF during May 1995 as a safety flare. The safety flare was continuous
throughout the month at an average of 109 MCFPD.
Gas-fired turbines to generate electricity were on line at West McArthur River Unit during
most of May 1995. These turbines have increased the amount of gas burned for lease
operations and subsequently reduced the amount of gas burned in the safety flare.
Stewart Petroleum Company will continue to utilize the gas as much as possible for
lease operations which will minimize the amount burned in the safety flare.
