The amount of event gas flared was approximately 1320 MCF. The motor was rebuilt and the booster was upgraded to 15 hp. The VRU is running on two compressors. Switch gear problems will need to be resolved in order to run on one compressor. Since an electrician is not available at this time a decision was made to get the VRU back on line with 2 compressors. Please let me know if you need more information. Janet G. The VRU was installed over the weekend however after start-up and several hours of operation, the compressor experienced another failure. The failure was do to improper'rebuild by the cttaehi~e shop.' Representatives of the Machine shop went to the GPTF and agreed that it was a mistake on their part. The compressor will be sent back to the machine shop to be rebuilt on their expense and should be back and operational within the next three weeks. This event will be reported on the excess flare log. Sincerely, Janet G.
