The referenced bottom hole location lies nearer toa property line than the 1500 feet set back requirement provided for in the statewide rules. 3. Notice of hearing on this request was pub1i'shed. in the Anchorage Da il y News on Oc tober 2, 1976 pursuant to Ti tl e 11, Alaska Administrative Code, Section 22.540, and no protest was received. FINDING: 1. It is necessary to place this location less than 1500 feet from a property line so that the location is in the optimum position for the testing of the geological objective. CONCLUSION: 1. Notice is hereby given that Standard Oil Company of California has requested the Oil and Gas Conservation Committee to issue an order exempting the referenced well from the 1500 foot minimum distance to a property line requirement of the referenced regulation. The operator states that the proposed location is best suited to the geology of the area. Parties who may be aggrieved if the requested order is issued are allowed 10 days from the date of this publication in which to file a protest and request for hearing. Place of filing is 3001 Porcupine Drive, Anchorage, Alaska. If such a protest is timely filed, a hearing on the matter will be held at the above address at 9:00 AM, October 13, 1976, at which time protestants and others may be heard. For rour consideration and approval we submit, in triplicate, State of Alask~ oil 'and Gas Conservation Committee Form "Permit to Drill or Deepen", and our check in the amount of $100 to- gether with a copy of the plan of operation. As shown on the attached plat, the proposed well will be located on State Lease ADL-21l27, ,1700 feet East and 200 feet South of the Northwest corner of Section 23, T.13N., R.lOW, SM. The north boundary line of Section 23, is also the boundary line between Lease ADL-2l127 and ADL-5883l. Pursuant to oil and gas conservation regulations and the applicable statutes of the State of Alaska, Standard qil Company of California, as Operator of State of Alaska Lease ADL-21127, hereby requests the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Committee to issue an order allowing exception to Title 11, Alaska Administrative Code, Section 22.055 to permit the drilling of sub- ject well at the proposed location. ') Standard Oil Company of California, Atlantic Richfield Company and Shell Oil Company, each to an undivided one-third interest, are the sole work- ing interest owners in the lease to be drilled and are also the owners¡ in like proportions, of the working interest of the State of Alaska Lease ADL- 58831. There are no other working interest owners or operators which would be affected by the granting of the exception requested.
