In order to add additional injector support for Endicott, this well is to be returned to service. A passing MIT-IA to 3000 psi was conducted in January 2022. This passing MITIA validates two competent barriers to formation. The well is now classified as OPERABLE and will be placed on injection under the following steps. 1. Complete surface reconnect 2. Place on injection 3. AOGCC witnessed MIT-IA upon injection stabilization Please respond with any questions or comments. Well names currently include a forward slash "/" followed by an obsolete bottom hole location designator. HAK would like to retain the well number as well as the "A, B, C...." sidetrack designations but remove the "/suffix". For example, "DUCK IS UNIT SDI 1-09A/L21" would become "DUCK IS UNIT SDI 1-09A". The attached spreadsheet includes original and new names for all Duck Island wells. While performing the review of Duck Island well names, HAK found a single well, "DUCK IS UNIT SDI 4-20/M35" (PTD# 1861730), that should also be modified to include an "A" label to reflect the fact that the well is a sidetrack from the original "DUCK IS UNIT SDI 4-20/134" (PTD # 1861500). The original wellbore, abandoned 10/13/1986, was sidetracked to a new bottom hole location completed on 9/9/1987. This well appears to be one of the first sidetracks performed at Endicott. While the bottom hole code was changed, no letter was added to reflect the sidetrack. "DUCK IS UNIT SDI 4-20A" is also included on the attached spreadsheet. The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing extemal corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. After cementing the liner in place, we were unable to release the running tool from the liner hanger. The inner diameter of the running tool is only 2.75" thereby preventing us from running a cement bond Icg in this injection well. BP Exploration (Alaska) is not planning to run a CBT in this well due to the restricted I.D. If you have any questions, please contact Paul Chan at 564-4226. Chatterton Well 4-48/K-43 SDI ('Endicott) Gentlemen' Enclosed, in triplicate, is form 10-403, Application for Sundry Approvals, for the above-named well. While cementing the liner, the drill pipe became cemented in. Most of the drill pipe was recovered, and tubing was tied back to surface. Due to the long departure (12,000') and high angle (60 degrees), we have not yet been able to run wireline into the liner. A coiled tubing cleanout is planned for June or July, after which time the gyro will be run and the well will be perforated. The well is now temporarily shut in. Included with this form are daily drilling reports and directional surveys. Yours very truly, M. E. Miller Endicott Lead Engineer MEM/KTH Enclosures CC' J. She stated that due t'o present well conditions (drl pipe cemented in hole) and the weather conditions, they wouldn't be able to do CTU WO till spring; thus, would not be able to meet deadline for completion report. The well is drilled to target depth with the liner set and cemented, but hasn't been perfed -- no pressure at surface. Per discussion with Blair (standing in for Commissionr Smith who is on vacation), it was concluded that BP may have an extension till work is completed this spring. They would then be required to file a completion report. Zone 3A is the primary objective. The completion will be run at the time of drilling and will consist of a simple type assembly. Operation Execute a rig move to slot 4-48 and rig-up. Vertically drill 17-1/2" hole to 1000 ft., then directionally drill to the surface casing point at 2500 ft. Run and cement 13-3/8" 68#/ft., NT-80CYHE Buttress casing to surface. Pressure test casing. Install BOPE. Maximum BHP is 4840 psi at 9855 ft. TVDss. Maximum possible surface pressure is 3900 psi based on a full gas column. Drill out casing and 5 ft. of new hole and conduct a formation leak-off test. Directionally drill to the intermediate casing point above the Kekiktuk formation. Run and cement 9-5/8" 47#/ft., NT80S and NT95HS, NSCC casing. No abnormal pressures are expected in the 12-1/4" hole section. Pressure test casing. Drill out casing shoe. Drill 8-1/2" hole to TD. Run open hole logs. Run and cement 7" 29#/ft, NT95HS buttress (TKC) liner to TD with approximately 250 ft. of lap in the 9- 5/8" casing. Clean out to float collar. Test casing and lap to 3000 psi. Change over to NaC1 packer fluid. Run CET/CBT/VDL/GR/CCL in 7" liner and in the 9- 5/8" casing to the top of cement behind the 9-5/8" casing. Run gyroscopic survey from PBTD to surface. Perforate well under balance utilizing drill pipe conveyed guns. Flqw_w~ellforximple clean-up. Kill well and complete with a simple completion.F--~erform M~n completion. A sub surface safety valve will be install~base~"6cp~-~afrost. Nipple down BOPE. Install tree on wellhead ~nd release rig. . Fluids incidental to the drilling of a well will be pumped down the 13-3/8" by 9- 5/8" annulus of the well. The 13-3/8" x 9-5/8" annulus will be freeze protected with a non-freezing fluid down to 3000 feet once the rig is released.
