Please verify the set points for the SVS system are re- calibrated for flowback conditions and also that there will be a "24 man - watch" for the duration of the flowback. Report estimated production as you stated with the 404 sundry report. With the short duration of the flowback it is not necessary to change the well status to "oil ", Guy Schwartz Senior Petroleum Engineer AOGCC 793 -1226 (office) 444 -3433 (cell) From: NSK Prod Engr Specialist [mailto:n1139 @conocophillips.com] Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2011 7:50 AM To: Schwartz, Guy L (DOA) Cc: NSK Prod Engr Specialist; CPF2 Prod Engrs Subject: 2L -322 PTD 210 -174 AOGCC Attn: Guy Schwartz Guy, ConocoPhillips is requesting permission to flowback 2L -329A PTD 198 -225 for approximately one week, to assist drilling operations currently ongoing on 2L -322. Drilling has encountered elevated gas levels while drilling 7/14/2011 Page 3 of 3 I • through the Bermuda zone in this well. As 2L -329A is the closest injector to this well ConocoPhillips would like to flow it back to reduce reservoir formation pressure in the area. We plan to rig up temporary hardline to flow 2L- 329A to production via existing production piping on the pad. 2L -329A is equipped with a surface safety valve. Produced volumes from 2L -329A will be estimated from well tests using the drillsite facility. ConocoPhillips request verbal approval to proceed as drilling operations are currently in progress. A 10-404 Sundry will follow completion of operations. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Darrell Humphrey / Bob Christensen ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. A sundry is not required for INJ to producer (backflow) ... if it stays backflowing for more than 30 days then a 404 is required. very short. change. Please send an email No 404 needed to report the status chan In this case the flow period was ery s o p g documenting the volume of fluids that was produced. That is all that needs to be done. In the future an email telling of us a planned backflow of an injector should be sent. They wanted to reduce the high reservoir pressure in the Bermuda zone while they were drilling 2L -322. It flowed from 4/22 -4/30 and they shut it in. The well is an injector but is shut for Reservoir Management reasons. Kelli Wilmot 265 -6309 7/13/2011
